The Pony Club Team Eventers Challenge is taking place FRIDAY 18th SEPT 2026 for 90cm & 100cm. We may have an opportunity for 1 team (4 members) in the 90cm. Plus an opportunity for Team (4 members) /individuals in the 100cm.
ENTRY CRITERIA: Horse/rider combinations must have completed two events competently at the following levels to be eligible.
90cm: BE90, BRC HT 90, BRC AE 90, BRC CC90, PC 90.
100cm: BE 100, BRC HT 100, BRC AE100, BRC CC100, PC 100.
If you are a Meynell member & wish to be considered, please let Caroline Thornton & Terene Stevens know your interest.
The Eventer Challenge is a ‘Derby’ style competition with a section of 8-10 show-jumps leading to 6-8 efforts over portable fixed cross-country fences and finishing over a Joker fence. Water may be included.
Team entries are strictly limited so places have to be offered based on merit. Blenheim typically suits senior members that are available on "school day" as it takes place on Frid 18th Sept. Selection is never down to one person, decisions are made by a combination of relevant committee members and Meynell coaches, subject to DC approval. Finally, please understand that we do our very best to get these decisions right but we know you may not always agree with us! This is unfortunate but I hope you will understand that we ask our members to accept our decisions with good grace and recognise it has been made in the best interest of our members and our pony club. All team decisions, once made, are final and not open for debate.
This is predominantly a Team Competition; however, the 100cm competition is open to individuals, but please note that priority will be given to team entries in the 100cm (over individuals).
