Description: We are delighted to offer a fantastic training rally combining 30 minutes of flatwork followed by 1 hour of Arena Eventing training.
Arena Eventing will involve a mix of flatwork, showjumping and cross-country training exercises.
This rally is designed to help riders develop their horses’ way of going on the flat before putting those skills into practice over fences. The flatwork session will focus on rhythm, balance, straightness and rider position, helping to prepare combinations for a productive and confidence-building jumping session.
Riders will then move on to an Arena Eventing session with Ann Hunter. Ann is a UKCC Level 3 Show Jumping Coach and Level 2 (1) Judge.
Session Format
• 30 minutes flatwork
• 1 hour Arena Eventing (60cm to 90cm)
• Suitable for a range of abilities — groups will be organised according to height/experience where possible. Groups from 60cm through to jumping 90cm.
• RIDERS must be riding independently and OFF the lead rein.
• A great opportunity to improve both flatwork foundations and jumping performance in one combined rally
Ideal for:
• Riders new to arena eventing who aren’t sure where to start
• Those looking to sharpen skills ahead of upcoming qualifiers & Pony Club Arena Eventing Competitions.
Entry fee:
Rally 1.5 hours (Flatwork & Arena Eventing) - £33.00
