Description: Training Camp Day suitable for members jumping 60cm to 1m at the fantastic facilities at Pickering Grange.
Camp typically focused on specific skills, such as showjumping, arena eventing and a special "Working Equitation" session. Equitation is really useful for desentising and building on your partnership. Great fun and very educational. Participants can expect to work on their technique, improve their horse’s performance, and gain valuable knowledge.
The groups are not suitable for very novice horses and riders. Riders must be confidently jumping 60cm (off lead rein).
Come along to this one day rally which will mimic a day at Camp. Also come along and weigh your pony and gain some Nutritional Advice.
Start 9am and finish 4pm. With a break for lunch. We will provide lunch, lots of fun along with tuition.
We will cover:
- Arena Eventing sessions
- Showjumping sessions
- Working Equitation (NEW)
- non ridden activity during lunch
- Riders Lunch in The Piggery
- Weighbridge & Nutrition advice
- Photographer capturing the day
Open to Meynell Pony Club members. Lunch is available for non riders (parents/siblings) as an optional cost.
