Description: Meynell Pony Club have once again been asked if we could provide a Showjumping arena party for the BE Horse Trials at Catton Park on Sat 15th June 2024. In 2023 we had over 20 members having fun & helping for a few hours. It will be a chance to watch the professionals eventing (up to 250 horses) and learn from watching riders, course builders and course walking. If you would like to volunteer, please register and we will be in touch nearer the time with your slot. Organiser website - https://www.bede-events.co.uk/competitors/catton-park-horse-trials WHAT IS REQUIRED? We need members for approx. 2 hours picking up poles in the Showjumping Arena between 8am and 6pm. We need groups of 4/5 children with at least two adults to be at the ring side during the showjumping phase and to put up any knocked down fences. DRESS Members should wear Meynell clothing - Polo Shirts/ jodphurs (Beige jods preferred) / Meynell sweatshirts/coats -depending on the weather!! We will come up with a rota and the more groups we can get together, the shorter the time slots will be for each group.
